This year is our 5th anniversary and we are calling on our supporters to 'Stand Up To Eating Disorders' to challenge the stereotypes and misconceptions. We will continue to provide male sufferers and carers a platform for which they can get their voices heard. Breaking down the barriers at the point access and within treatment services is key so that male sufferers can seek support early, opposed to crisis. We are seeking to address this is by increasing public awareness campaigns and training sessions for professionals to attend from across the UK. Ultimately, we want male sufferers to be able to receive the care they need irrespective of the gender.
'Men Get Eating Disorders Too' is a charity that seeks to raise awareness of male eating disorders. We provide information through our website, plus links to support and online peer support services.
